Ma`rifat Falsafi

The formation of universals and the way of evaluating them is one of the issues that Mulla Sadra investigated. It is said that he believes that the perception of universals comes from a kind of unity between the soul and the active intellect or, Lords of the species, unlike others who say that it comes from the soul. In this article, various approaches in all her books are presented. Based on different definitions of Mulla Sadra in logic and philosophy of universals, another type of these concepts can be discovered, whose foundations and effects are neglected. Sadrul Motalhin explained several methods for perception of universals. In this article, while analyzing the ways, we investigated the existence and foundations of a different type of universals that is named Ambiguous concept. According to Mulla Sadra's philosophical criteria, this type of concept does not have the property of universals. So, after the epistemological evaluation, we explained its effects and evaluation methods.
