This has led to presenting a variety of related views. Foundationalism is one of the oldest and the most important views among them. Thus, the present study is seeking to investigate the arguments for foundationalism as well as the most important challenges it faces. To do so, it investigates the arguments by the impossibility of infinite regress as well as contingency and certainty to show that only some interpretations through the impossibility of infinite regress are capable of proving the claims of the foundationalists. However, the foundationalists are not to obtain anything by arguing through contingency and certainty. The present study continues by investigating the most important challenges the foundationalism faces. These are as follows: unreasonableness of the basic arguments, the relationship between the basic propositions and the reality, and the inconsistency of the knowledge system based on foundationalism. It will be clarified that the abovementioned challenges are all resolvable. <p>توجیه معرفت یکى از مهم ترین مسائلى است که از دیرباز ذهن فیلسوفان و معرفت شناسان را به خود مشغول کرده و موجب ارائه نظریات متفاوتى در این باب شده است. مبناگروى یکى از قدیمى ترین و مهم ترین این نظریات است. ازاین رو، این پژوهش درصدد بررسى استدلال هاى مبناگروى و مهم ترین چالش هاى پیش روى آن است. در این راستا با بررسى استدلال از راه استحاله تسلسل و احتمال و یقین، روشن خواهد شد که تنها برخى تقریرهاى استدلال از راه استحاله تسلسل قابلیت اثبات مدعاى مبناگرایان را دارد. این در حالى است که نتیجه استدلال از راه احتمال و یقین چیزى نیست که مبناگرا به دنبالش باشد. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; در ادامه با بررسى مهم ترین چالش هاى پیش روى مبناگروى که عبارت اند از: مستدل بودن گزاره هاى پایه، چگونگى ارتباط گزاره هاى پایه با واقع و ناسازگارى دستگاه معرفتى مبتنى بر مبناگروى، روشن خواهد شد این چالش ها استبعادى بیش نیستند و همگى داراى پاسخ و رفع شدنى اند.</p> https://marefatfalsafi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatfalsafi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/5_OP_6.PDF
