These universals comprise forms and meanings, conceptions and affirmations, true and false propositions, theoretical and practical propositions, the necessary, possible and impossible ones, presumed premises and certain premises. Without any need to body and physical powers, speculative intellect receives these universals from supreme beginnings in a particular way with intuitive knowledge, while its role in this reception is just passivity and affection. The present article is an attempt to respond to the following questions from the perspective of Ibn Sina and Mulla Sadra: What are the principles of speculative intellect and its various grades? Is it possible for all people to achieve all grades of speculative intellect? What is the role of speculative intellect in creation of knowledge and morality? Is there any role for speculative intellect in the happiness and perfection of man in this world and the Hereafter? What are the obstacles to this role? <p>عقل نظرى مهم ترین قوه نفس ناطقه است که اصلى ترین کارکردش از نظر فلاسفه، ادراک کلیات است. این کلیات دربردارنده صور و معانى، تصورات و تصدیقات، قضایاى صادق و کاذب، و نظرى و عملى، واجبات، ممکنات و ممتنعات، ظنیات، یقینیات و... است. عقل نظرى بدون نیاز به بدن و قواى بدنى، آن کلیات را به گونه اى ویژه و با علم حضورى از مبادى عالیه دریافت مى کند و نقشش در این دریافت، تنها انفعال و تأثر است؛ اما اینکه مبادى عقل نظرى چیست و مراتب آن کدام اند و آیا همه افراد مى توانند به همه مراتب آن نایل شوند و نیز عقل نظرى چه نقشى در تولید علم و اخلاق دارد و آیا مى تواند در حصول سعادت و کمال انسان در دنیا و آخرت نقشى داشته باشد و موانع این نقش کدام اند، پرسش هایى اند که پاسخشان از نظر ابن سینا و ملّاصدرا در این مقاله کانون بررسى و تحقیق قرار مى گیرد.</p> https://marefatfalsafi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatfalsafi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/2_OP.PDF
