They raise such questions as: what is the realm of human knowledge? Is the human being capable of attaining the truth? And are there facts outside the reach of human knowledge? The authors try to analyze such issues on the basis of epistemological foundations provided by two groups of influential philosophers in the West and in the Islamic World, namely, Sadraian philosophers on the one hand, and Cartesians on the other. These views are compared and their commonalities as well as differences are reviewed. Admitting some limits for each source of knowledge is one of their commonalities, while their different views about the object of knowledge can be considered as major points of divergence. <p>یکى از مباحث مهم در معرفت شناسى معاصر، بحث درباره قلمرو و محدوده معرفت است که پرسش هایى را از این دست برمى انگیزد: حوزه شناخت انسان تا کجاست؟ آیا انسان به حقیقت دست مى یابد یا نه؟ آیا امورى هستند که خارج از محدوده شناخت انسان باشند؟ آیا انسان قادر است به همه حقایق علم یابد؟ &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; نویسندگان این مقاله کوشیده اند بر پایه مبانى معرفت شناختى فیلسوفان صدرایى و فیلسوفان دکارتى، به منزله دو گروه مهم و تأثیرگذار در تاریخ فلسفه و با نگاهى مقایسه اى، به تحلیل این مبحث از معرفت شناسى معاصر بپردازند و وجوه افتراق و اشتراک این دو گروه را کانون بحث و بررسى قرار دهند. محدودیت هریک از منابع معرفت را مى توان از نکات اشتراک آنها برشمرد و تفاوت دیدگاه آنان درباره متعلق معرفت را مى توان از برجسته ترین تفاوت هاى ایشان ارزیابى کرد.</p> https://marefatfalsafi.nashriyat.ir/sites/marefatfalsafi.nashriyat.ir/files/article-files/3_5.pdf
