abstract = {The advancement of technology refers to the invention of various human-made artifacts (as opposed to natural objects), which, alongside the comfort it has provided for humanity, has also led to harmful consequences. These destructive effects have created new challenges in the philosophy of technology, including the idea that some, by attributing intrinsic reality to technological artifacts, have claimed that such artifacts possess a true unified and independent existence that may lead humanity to its destruction. This research aims to provide an answer to the question of the ontological status of technology from the perspective of contemporary Islamic philosophy, which can serve as a foundation for many issues in the philosophy of technology. The data for this study were collected through library research and analyzed using logical analysis methods. 
This research will show that, according to Allama Misbah Yazdi and other contemporary Muslim philosophers, the existence of technological artifacts is of a conventional nature. Due to lacking the true unity, artifacts do not possess one real existence. It is human beings who consider unity for this collection and assigns it a name so that referring to the concept of the artifact does not require invoking the names of each individual parts in the mind. By proving the conventional nature of technological artifacts, determinism in this context will no longer have meaning, and it is human beings who can prevent and compensate for its harmful effects.

abstract_fa ={پیشرفت فتاوری (تکنولوژی) به‌معنای اختراع مصنوعات متنوع بشری (در برابر اجسام طبیعی) در کنار آسایشی که برای انسان فراهم آورد، آثار مخربی نیز از آن پدیدار گشت. این آثار مخرب چالش‌های جدیدی را در فلسفة فناوری ایجاد کرد؛ ازجمله اینکه برخی با اصالت دادن به وجود مصنوعات فناوری، چنان وجود واحد حقیقی برای هر مصنوع فناورانه قائل شدند که بشر را به نابودی خواهد کشاند. این تحقیق قصد دارد با نگاهی هستی‌شناسانه از منظر فلسفة اسلامی معاصر، پاسخی به مسئلة اصالت یا اعتباریت وجود فناوری ارائه دهد که می‌تواند مبنای بسیاری از مسائل فلسفة فناوری قرار گیرد. داده‌های این تحقیق با روش کتابخانه‌ای گردآوری شده و با روش تحلیل منطقی داوری ‌گردیده است. بر اساس این تحقیق، مشخص خواهد شد که در نگاه علامه مصباح یزدی و دیگر فیلسوفان اسلامی معاصر، وجود مصنوعات فنی، وجودی اعتباری است. مصنوعات به‌سبب نداشتن وحدت حقیقی، وجود واحد حقیقی نخواهند داشت و این انسان است که وحدتی برای این مجموعه اعتبار می‌کند و برای آن نامی انتخاب می‌کند تا برای اشاره به مفهوم آن مصنوع نیازمند احضار نام تک‌تک اجزا به ذهن نباشد. با اثبات اعتباری بودن مصنوعات فناورانه، جبرگرایی در آن معنایی نخواهد داشت و این انسان است که می‌تواند آثار مخرب آن را پیشگیری و جبران کند.},
